Yes I have read Worlds, Stars and Cities. They all have fantastic worldbuilding tools I use a lot and have been inspired by. They do suffer from being a little specific to their specific flavor of the genre of the game and I have not gotten into the system itself for the game. No knock against it, just a preference.
Definitely very helpful! I do think I've had PCs suffer from lack of that in the past.
Also I'm curious if you've read up on stars with that number? I've had that on my list to check out for years but never got around to it.
